A Southampton-led initiative, Responsible AI UK, has allocated £12 million to fund groundbreaking AI projects aimed at addressing the challenges posed by the rapid advancements in artificial intelligence. The initiative aims to foster interdisciplinary research to navigate the complex challenges associated with AI implementation in real-world scenarios. The support from UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) underscores the government's commitment to establishing the UK as a leading hub for AI development.
