A Tokyo-based software provider, Studist Corporation, has launched AI-driven software called 'Teachme AI' that can produce instructional videos for foreign workers in Japan. The software can translate text into 20 different languages, making it easier for companies to create tutorial videos for their employees. This initiative comes as Japan faces labor shortages and an aging population.
Teachme AI can significantly reduce editing times, with videos automatically divided into chapters with subtitles and written explanations. The software is capable of producing content in languages such as Thai, Vietnamese, Indonesian, and Bengali, catering to the diverse workforce in Japan. The importance of providing necessary training to foreign workers is highlighted by Satoshi Suzuki, the president of Studist.
