In 2024, Greek AI startups raised over €123 million, securing the second position in the region for funding, which constitutes about 20% of the total investments in AI startups. The report highlights that Greece is home to 17.5% of the AI startups in Central and Eastern Europe, showcasing a vibrant innovation landscape. Despite challenges such as geopolitical instability and inflation, the support from the European Union and international investors is fostering growth in the AI sector. The anticipated acceleration of developments, particularly with the introduction of the Golden Visa for investors, further enhances Greece's attractiveness as an AI hub.
