Microsoft's Windows Recall requires specific system requirements, including the use of Copilot+ branded PCs with certain specifications such as an NPU with 40+ TOPS, 16GB RAM, and 256GB storage. The AI feature runs in the background, capturing and organizing user activities without cloud processing for privacy and performance reasons. Users can search for past content using natural language queries, making it easier to retrieve information.
