There's new evidence that creators are turning away from AI

A new survey of 1,500 content creators reveals a decline in the usage of top AI tools among social-media influencers. Despite the initial hype around AI tools for content creation, data shows a decrease in their adoption in 2024 compared to the previous year. Apps for functions like image recognition are being used less frequently by creators.

The survey conducted by Epidemic Sound found that while 84% of content creators were leveraging AI-powered tools, the usage of top AI tools had dropped year over year. Concerns about the quality of AI-generated content, lack of originality, plagiarism risks, and ethical implications are leading creators to shift away from AI tools.
