Skild AI, backed by Jeff Bezos and notable venture capital firms, has secured a $300 million Series A round to scale its AI models. The co-founders, Deepak Pathak and Abhinav Gupta, are focusing on developing Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) with a unique approach grounded in the physical world.

Unlike other AI giants, Skild AI aims to train models on physical data rather than just internet data, believing that true intelligence must be rooted in sensory motor common sense. The company's recent funding round was led by Bezos Exhibitions, Lightspeed Venture Partners, SoftBank Group, and Coatue, boosting its valuation to around $1.5 billion.
