This initiative aligns with the National Digital Economy Policy and Strategy (NDEPS) 2020-2030, focusing on transforming Nigeria's digital landscape.
The government is also implementing the Three Million Talent Training (3MTT) program to cultivate a skilled workforce in digital technologies. This program aims to train three million individuals, positioning Nigeria as a global hub for AI applications. Additionally, the Nigeria AI Research Scheme (NAIRS) supports local research, reflecting the country's potential in AI development.
