Microsoft has unveiled a $3.3 billion investment plan in Wisconsin to boost AI innovation and economic development. President Joe Biden will join Microsoft President Brad Smith to announce these investments at Gateway Technical College.
The investment strategy is structured into four parts to drive long-term benefits for Wisconsin's economy and job market. Microsoft will expand its cloud and AI infrastructure with a new datacenter campus in Mount Pleasant, creating thousands of jobs. Additionally, the company will collaborate with educational institutions to train students and professionals in AI technologies, aiming to transform businesses and build a thriving regional AI innovation economy.
