Meta, Hugging Face, and Scaleway Announce a New AI Accelerator Program for European Startups

Meta, Hugging Face, and Scaleway have collaborated to launch a new AI accelerator program for European startups aiming to incorporate open foundation models into their products. The program offers access to cutting-edge open models and resources in the AI field, accelerating innovation in the EU ecosystem. Startups can apply for the program until 16 August 2024 through fb.me/AIStartupProgram.

The AI Startup Program, based at STATION F in Paris, will support five startups from the MVP or product stage from September 2024 to February 2025. Selected startups will receive technical mentoring from Meta's FAIR research teams, access to Hugging Face's platform and tools, and Scaleway's computing power. The first edition of the accelerator supported startups like Pollen Robotics, Fringuant, and Qevlar AI in developing innovative solutions using open-source AI technology.
