MediaTek claims that the 8400 delivers the most powerful generative AI in its class, supporting various AI models for diverse tasks.
The Dimensity 8400 boasts an eight-core Arm Cortex-A725 CPU and an Arm Mali-G720 GPU, significantly enhancing gaming performance and efficiency. It also includes the MediaTek Imagiq 1080 image signal processor for superior image quality and HDR video recording. The first smartphone to utilize this chip is the Xiaomi Redmi Turbo 4, with more devices expected to follow, showcasing the chip's advanced capabilities.
