Mastercard and First Abu Dhabi Bank have joined forces to support the launch of an AI Challenge in the UAE. The initiative aims to boost the country's AI landscape and create opportunities for AI-focused businesses and talent. Startups are invited to propose innovative AI solutions in various sectors such as cybersecurity, fintech, and customer management.

The competition will culminate in a pitch day where finalists will present their ideas to a panel of experts. The winning startup will receive a cash prize of US$150,000, access to Mastercard's global sponsorships, and enrollment in their startup engagement program Start Path. Mastercard has been a pioneer in utilizing AI for over 15 years, leveraging it to enhance customer solutions and prevent fraud.
