A study revealed that a significant percentage of IT leaders feel their infrastructure may not be equipped to leverage Gen AI to its full potential. Despite the pressure to adopt Gen AI tools, there are apprehensions about the long-term repercussions on IT infrastructure planning.
The study surveyed 1,000 CTOs and senior IT leaders in various countries, including Singapore, Australia, Hong Kong, the UK, and the US. It found that a majority of IT teams are facing increasing pressure to incorporate Gen AI within their organizations. Concerns about cybersecurity risks, data breaches, and lack of IT expertise are key barriers to immediate adoption.
