Indian Genai Startups See 6 Times Surge In Funding In Q2

India's generative AI startup ecosystem experienced a remarkable six-fold increase in funding during Q2 FY25, according to a Nasscom report. This surge was primarily driven by investments in B2B platforms and productivity solutions, with total funding growing 3.4 times year-on-year. The quarter also marked a significant recovery from a slow Q1, with 20 funding rounds recorded.

The landscape of generative AI is rapidly evolving, prompting technology service providers to reassess their strategies and invest more in talent and technology. Early-stage investments dominated the funding rounds, accounting for 77 percent, with innovative startups like Nurix AI, Dashtoon, and Mihup leading the charge in transformative solutions.
