Several technology giants have created the Coalition for Secure AI (CoSAI), an organization devoted to bolstering security for the rapidly evolving technology. The founding members include major tech brands like Amazon, its AI partner Anthropic, Cisco, Google, IBM, Intel, Microsoft, Nvidia, PayPal, and OpenAI. Industry names like Chainguard, Cohere, GenLab, and Wiz are also involved.

CoSAI will initially focus on security for the AI software supply chain, help defenders safeguard against changing threats, and create best practice guidelines that include taxonomies, checklists, and even score cards. The Coalition also plans to partner with outside organizations, such as the Partnership on AI and the Open Source Security Foundation.
