The Digital Empowerment Foundation (DEF) is set to host the 8th Community Network Xchange - Asia Pacific (CNX-APAC) and the 6th Digital Citizen Summit (DCS) on November 15-16, 2024, at T-Hub in Hyderabad. These events, supported by the Telangana government and various organizations, will focus on digital inclusion and the ethical implications of artificial intelligence. The CNX-APAC will address network deployment challenges in underserved areas, while the DCS will explore AI accountability and its societal impacts.
Both events will feature over 20 sessions and 10 lightning talks, bringing together a diverse group of stakeholders, including policymakers, researchers, and community representatives. The discussions aim to foster community-led solutions to digital exclusion and promote ethical AI practices. This platform will encourage participants to share their insights and experiences, contributing to a more inclusive digital future.
