The Ryzen AI 300 series 'Strix Point' APUs mark the debut of AMD's Zen 5 architecture, along with new RDNA 3.5 GPU cores and XDNA 2 NPU for AI workloads. These APUs are built on TSMC's 4nm process node, offering up to 12 cores and 24 threads with a mix of Zen 5 and Zen 5c cores. The XDNA 2 NPU in the Strix Point APUs delivers 50 TOPS for AI tasks, surpassing competitors like Qualcomm and Intel in performance.
