The cameras are part of the 'Safe City' project endorsed by the Ras Al Khaimah Police General Headquarters. These cameras utilize artificial intelligence technologies to support decision-making and obtain proactive information.

The system extracts and analyzes patterns to predict and prevent crimes, contributing to a safer environment. Major General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al Nuaimi highlighted that the cameras aim to enhance response times to accident sites, reduce crimes, and promote a sense of security and safety in the emirate.
