Taiwan's semiconductor industry, often referred to as a 'sacred mountain protecting the nation,' has been pivotal in the country's global standing. Minister Liu highlighted Taiwan's position as a global AI hub with a substantial market share in AI servers.
Minister Liu aims to bolster Taiwan's role in the global AI supply chain by advancing AI hardware development, including key components and processors. With semiconductors and AI as the dual cores of Taiwan's economy, the NDC plans to support Taiwanese companies in the AI sector to increase their global market share. Additionally, efforts are underway to attract investment and talent to foster the growth of these industries.
