Fujitsu has announced a strategic partnership with Cohere, a security and data privacy-focused enterprise AI company headquartered in Toronto and San Francisco. The partnership aims to develop large language models (LLMs) that enhance customer and employee experiences by leveraging industry-leading Japanese language capabilities.
As part of the partnership, Fujitsu will be the exclusive provider of jointly developed services on the global market, offering AI technology through Fujitsu Data Intelligence PaaS and Fujitsu Uvance. The collaboration will also see the development of Takane, an advanced Japanese language model based on Cohere's enterprise-grade LLM, to cater to specific industries and businesses for increased productivity and efficiency.
