A San Antonio-based company, BobiHealth, has developed an app that utilizes artificial intelligence to predict pregnancy risks by analyzing users' symptoms. The app, Baby on Board Intelligence, uses machine learning to forecast potential issues such as preeclampsia, blood clotting, and mental health concerns based on the data input by users.
CEO Dave Esra, a retired Army officer, was inspired to create the app after his wife experienced a high-risk pregnancy. Recognizing the lack of focus on maternal health, Esra delved into researching how the COVID-19 vaccine impacts pregnancy and discovered alarming statistics on maternal mortality rates.
