Israel has introduced a $2.68 million initiative to draw top artificial intelligence (AI) talent from around the world to its technology sector. The program aims to enhance the nation's AI capabilities by bringing in highly skilled researchers with advanced degrees and industry experience. The country faces a shortage of AI professionals, with fewer than 700 MA students graduating annually in related fields.
The initiative includes a Call For Proposals (CFP) inviting organizations experienced in managing foreign human resources to engage global AI experts in Israel's high-tech ecosystem. The program offers financial support covering a significant portion of the approved budget for participating organizations. Partnerships with entities and NGOs will aid in the integration of foreign professionals into Israel's tech landscape.
